Reassembly!

Evening Ya'll,

10 bonus points if you can identify the first picture, that reminded me, no one ever commented on the bodge I alluded to in one of the 'Door' posts.  Well if you look closely at the picture of the reassembled passenger door you might see a little silver dot- I had to use a screw to hold the warped door panel in so that it wouldn't foul the window winder handle.

Answer below :-)

Reassembling the pedal box, a lot easier to do on the bench than from the inside of the car. can anyone see the modification?
It's not a bodge if it's an improvement-right?

Pedal box installed with the master cylinders installed prior to mounting the pedal box.

New "Slave Master Cylinder" installed

Pedal box from underneath, still need to tighten a couple of nuts

Refurbished center console

Also reassembled the heater box, will install it pretty soon too,  trying to decide if I want to do the heater pipes and that is a big chore.  The car was essentially built up around the heater pipes and getting them out and replaced with new ones takes a lot of time and words that one shouldn't use in public.

That's All Folks,

Lynn

  1. Putting in the rebuilt pedal box and new masters is a huge improvement. Yes, I see the hairpin you added instead of the cotter pin. I found some ultra small ones I use on the carb linkage instead of cotter pins and it's much easier to take off and put back on. That heater box sure looks spiffy. I'm not familiar with the CRV so you had me stumped.

You get 5 bonus points for seeing the hairpins!
    Thanks for looking.
