Awaiting a parts shipment, cleaning and painting the splash panels

Hope you all had a great weekend,  decided to go to the local car show and was pleased to win the "Oldie but Goodie" award, figure I must be the oldie and Shawnee is the "Goodie".  Made for a very pleasant day sharing my enthusiasm for our cars.

Today I finished the 'finish' on the steering wheel, shouldn't get any splinters from it now ;-) 

Just an interesting feature on Jennifer's car that my car is missing. Not exactly sure what it's for but had to remove it to install the seal, so It's back in place today.

Splash pan parts after loosing about as much as they weigh in dirt and grime.

Took this picture of the SNG package that came today,  pretty beat up but fortunately the parts were well protected.  Received the pipes that run in the firewall for the heater and vacuum booster.

Had just enough paint to finish the splash pans.  Won't install till after the new bushings are installed, need them off for this job.

Still waiting for some parts but will spend the rest of the week trying to get the pipes in the firewall,  the car was literally built around these pipes.
